In this theme episode Cindy and Jason discuss bad, difficult, inappropriate and disruptive audiences.

Hey, we all get them, and it’s important to note that these rough talks are not always the audience’s fault. So if you’ve ever endured a rough crowd or are concerned about how to deal with them, this show is for you.

Highlights include stories about  a woman walking out of Cindy’s talk because she didn’t like Cindy’s introduction. Cindy also talks about the corporate training gig that put her in front of her most hostile and disinterested audience.

Jason shares his own amusing audience horror stories –  including the 100 degree oven of a meeting room with 200 stone faced Health and Safety officers.  He also talks about writing a presentation full of North American pop-culture references only to find out his audience was made up entirely of recent South Asian immigrants.

Continuing the theme, Cindy takes a listener question and outlines the three key principles to deal with disruptive audience members.
